Hacking Developments’ vision focuses on the construction of quality, affordable living solutions in areas of growth in South East Queensland. We strive to meet the needs of family living through the delivery of high-quality, functional homes for today’s modern lifestyle. The way we live our lives now has changed dramatically over the years, with technological advancements the move towards open-plan living and of course, the Australian way of life.
We have built strong professional relationships with our partners, suppliers, contractors and consultants which allow us to provide cost savings and time efficiencies to our owner occupiers and investors.
Each of our designs is rigorously researched and road-tested with our local Gold Coast Contractor Sandsky, to provide a balance of size, functionality, quality and value for money.
A strong background and experience within the residential sector is the base on which Hacking Developments is built. Led jointly by Greg King and Tony Hackett, both of whom have a background in construction and residential markets, the company brings over 50 years' combined experience to the table.

Greg’s family has been involved in South East Queensland property developments since 1980 and he was integral to the creation of the “Kingsmore” project at Reedy Creek on the Gold Coast. Sold out in 2018, the Kingsmore project incorporated a 500 lot residential land subdivision, child care facility and small shopping centre.
TONY HACKETT
Co Founder
Tony's experience includes a variety of residential, commercial and industrial subdivision projects on the Gold Coast from both a construction and developer perspective. He has been involved with projects at Sovereign Islands, Harbour Town, Sanctuary Cove and the Kingsmore Estate.
After 30 years of friendship and professional association, Tony and Greg pooled their collective resources and knowledge together in 2016 to create Hacking Developments with a view to provide quality, low-cost housing within the upcoming growth areas of South East Queensland.
